A grass area with louvered rectangles and glass roofs.

I don't know what these are for. This shot was taken in the center of Brooklyn's Green-Wood Cemetery, and they seem as if they're designed to let in light through the glass panes in the top and air through their louvered sides, while keeping out rain (from the tilt of the louvers). But what's underneath?
