 So, finding too much time on my hands, I started another pool on Flickr, one called Named After People — devoted to the tributes we encounter like bridges, airports, mustards, and such. And when you start something like this, it effects what you see. Pontiac automobiles are of course named after Chief Pontiac, in whose honor General Motors also made that hood ornament with the Native American's head. Bushwick, Brooklyn. Also filed in Mechanical.
