The inside of a cavernous building has a railroad track, cranes, and balconies for unloading cargo.

The Brooklyn Army Terminal, designed by Cass Gilbert. Cargo would come in and out on the tracks you see, and cranes would help move it around. And Elvis was shipped off to Europe from here. A couple other views from my bud Pro-Zak are here and here. Sunset Park. Brooklyn, New York. Also filed in Landmarks.
