 This is a skylight over a stairway in the Pacific Street-Atlantic Avenue subway station in Brooklyn. The sculpture below the skylight is by George Trakas and is called "Hook (Archean Reach), Line (Sea House), and Sinker (Mined Swell)." More here. Here's the weird part: I posted a similar shot about five years ago, and in that shot, also, someone in a red shirt is standing at the same place.
