Bright Temple AME Church is in a historic building in the Bronx, the last mansion in Hunts Point. When a group of us walked by on a Guess Where NY photohike through Hunts Point, they were closing up after their service, but were happy to give us some basic info on the building's history, and they were kind enough to delay locking the gates while we took some quick shots.
