I liked this for a lot of reasons. One, it was a dim light on a dull walk. Two, it's Ghost Neon. Three, as a defunct appliance brand it represents a piece of American commercial heritage. Fourth, there's a character in a Don Delillo novel who was named Norge by his unimaginative father, who'd just seen a discarded Norge refrigerator set out for collection in a neighbor's swale.
