Sidewalk grips — Photo, Really not worth archiving

Raised texture on a corner, for pedestrian traction.

Not sure what to call these, except "sidewalk grips." They're in the sidewalk at corners all over our city, to make crossing at corners easier. Obviously I had some harsh light today. Gowanus, Brooklyn.
