People in a park in front of a building with a roller tag by the street artist REVS.

I'm glad that it seems as if the Friends of the Highline Park have abandoned efforts to scrub this REVS roller from the side of this building. At one point it seemed as if they were trying to, in an effort to make the park more pristine. To my eyes it seems to be faded, though, and I don't know if it's simply due to time or prior scrubbing efforts making it more susceptible to time. And I wonder if there are now internal discussions as to whether they should make any efforts to preserve it from time. My view is that its presence is important to the culture of the area. But Revs might laugh over the concept of "preserving" something he may or may not have thought of as ephemeral when he did it. Chelsea, Manhattan. And REVS.
