329. John Knox
I happened to ask where John Knox was buried. Dr. Johnson burst
out, "I hope in the high-way. I have been looking at his
reformations." Boswell: Journal of a Tour to the Hebrides
Where are they now? It turns out that Johnson almost
got his wish! The site of Knox's plot, in the St. Giles Church
grave yard, has been paved over and is now a parking lot. Is
a parking lot so very different from the 'high-way'?
